Etched with an ancient ritual, the Runed Skull is dropped rarely by Wither Skeletons. Alternatively, a level 4 or above Butcher Villager can offer to carve a Skeleton Skull into a Runed Skull at the cost of some Emeralds. It is the primary component of making Infused Skulls, which are used to summon the Wither. Runed skulls, like any Mob Head, can be placed on solid surfaces or mounted to walls.
