As the first accessible tools, Chisels carve the path to progress! Chisels allow you to mine blocks with even greater efficiency than poking them with your bare hands! There are 3 types of chisels, Wood (Pointy Sticks), Stone (Sharp Stones) and Iron (Iron Chisel).

Crafting

Pointy Stick	Shaft		Harvests Loose Stone from smooth stone.
Sharp Stone	Loose Stone		Same as above, plus harvests Iron Ore, Gold Ore and Coal in the form of single piles, Lapis Lazuli with no losses.
Iron Chisel	Iron Nuggets		Recycling Iron	Iron Chisel, Crucible	Iron Chisel, Iron Nuggets		Same as above, plus turns stumps into Crafting Tables, harvests Redstone, Emerald and Diamond with no losses. Harvests 2 Stone Bricks instead of Loose Stones from Smooth Stone, splits smooth stone blocks into four stone bricks, and splits stone bricks into two loose stones.
Diamond Chisel	Diamond Ingot		Recycling Diamond	Diamond Chisel, Crucible	Diamond Chisel, Diamond Ingot		Same as above, but does not lose durability when used in crafting

Keep in Mind

• All chisels can be crafted in the inventory crafting grid.
• Iron Chisels are the only way to create a standard Crafting Table.
• Using the correct pickaxe produces iron and gold chunks and full pieces of coal, which is double the yield of piles produced from chisels.
• Diamond chisels do not take durability damage when used in crafting.
