Blaze Rod
Blaze Rods are the fiery remains of a Blaze that are dropped after they are slain, and consequently can only be obtained in or near a Nether Fortress. While they are not immediately useful, they can be crumbled by hand into Blaze Powder, which is a critical component of the Element of a Hibachi, and also has uses in potion brewing.

Keep In Mind
- Magma Cream is used to create a Potion of Fire Resistance, which makes fighting Blazes (and obtaining more Blaze Powder) much easier.
Keep In Mind
- The capacity for Blazes to set enemies and blocks on fire makes them very dangerous to fight without a fire resistance potion. Consider killing one from afar, making a single potion, then returning to fight in close combat once you are immune to fire damage.
- Blazes will reliably be found at Blaze Spawners, but they can also appear in smaller numbers anywhere in or around a Nether Fortress.
