These are two additional detector rails: wood and soulforged steel while the original stone detector rails are changed as follows.
- Wood detects any minecart passing over it.
- Stone detects any minecart occupied by a mob, animal or player, and the Minecart with Chest,
- Soulforged Steel detects only a minecart which has a player inside.
These changes can be extremely useful in routing carts to various locations in an automated rail network.

Note: Before version 4.85, the obsidian pressure plate was used instead of the soulforged steel pressure plate for the exact same purpose.
