Nethercoal combines the properties of Netherrack with the utility of Coal as a fuel and to make infinitely burning Torches. The potent mixture also greatly increases the quantity of fuel, allowing for much longer burn times for the same amount of Coal.

Uses
When used as a fuel, such as in the Brick Oven or a Campfire, a piece of Nethercoal lasts as long as a piece of Coal.

Keep in Mind
- Make sure that the fire under a Cauldron is NOT stoked when making Nethercoal, as Hellfire Dust will explode if exposed to too high temperatures.
- The production of Nethercoal is irreversible, so you can not grind it into its components.
