A speedrun is a play-through of a video game performed with the intention of completing it as fast as possible. Speedruns may cover a whole game or a selected part, such as completing all achievements/advancements, or killing a certain boss. Players attempt speedruns mainly to challenge themselves and to entertain and compete with others. For experienced Minecraft players, speedruns add a new challenge and sometimes ignore or subvert established game principles.
Contents
Category Rules
- You must submit a video recording to submit a record
- The video needs to start before generating the world, and should show the seed or lack thereof
- You must use default world generation and difficulty
- Each category has a random seed and set seed subcategory
Fish%
- You must catch and eat a fish
- The run ends with you typing in /time, the number shown is your final time
Pants%
- You must craft and wear a pair of leather pants
- The run ends with you typing in /time, the number shown is your final time
Milkbucket% (Legacy)
(replaced by Pants%)
- You must obtain a bucket of milk and drink it
- You may not use a bedroll or bed to speed up time
- The run ends with you stopping an on-screen timer
(If someone wants to run this with Bedrolls/Beds then we will make a seperate timesheet. In order to end this run you will need to type in /time, the number shown is your final time)
