Speedrunning
A speedrun is a play-through of a video game performed with the intention of completing it as fast as possible. Speedruns may cover a whole game or a selected part, such as completing all achievements/advancements, or killing a certain boss. Players attempt speedruns mainly to challenge themselves and to entertain and compete with others. For experienced Minecraft players, speedruns add a new challenge and sometimes ignore or subvert established game principles.

Category Rules
- You must submit a video recording to submit a record
- The video needs to start before generating the world, and should show the seed or lack thereof
- You must use default world generation and difficulty
- Each category has a random seed and set seed subcategory
- The run ends with you typing in /time, the number shown is your final time (you have to first Open LAN and enable cheats to be able to run that command)
- You can sleep in bedrolls
- Only runs made in the latest version of the mod will be maintained in the official categories
- You cannot use extra mods or addons, with 3 exceptions :

Fish%
- You must catch and eat a fish
Pants%
- You must craft and wear a pair of leather pants
Build Limit%
- You must put a block at the upper build limit
Nether%
- You must enter the Nether
Milkbucket%
(replaced by Pants% because it's less tedious, but still available)
- You must obtain a bucket of milk and drink it
- The run ends with you stopping an on-screen timer
