Rope is a utility item crafted from
Hemp Fibers. Its most basic use is in the creation of
Axles, though it is also part other recipes. 9 pieces of
Rope can be crafted into a
Coil Of Rope for more compact storage.
Rope can be attached to an Anchor, causing it to hang down. Attaching more ropes to the anchor or the hanging rope will cause it to extend downward. This hanging rope may then be grabbed on to to slow one's descent, allowing for quick and safe drops.
Another notable use of the rope is in creating elevators using a Pulley, Anchor and Platforms.

Keep in Mind
- The climbing Rope can be retracted when the cave dive is complete by right-clicking the anchor with anything but Rope in your hand.
- Press [Shift] to stick to the Rope while climbing.
- Can be crafted into Hemp Fiber at a ratio of 1:6, making them an effective way to store Hemp Fibers (especially since you can make craft Rope into Coil of Rope for 1:56 storage ratio).
