The Block of Soulforged Steel is an aesthetic block consisting of 16 Soulforged Steel ingots assembled together. It is mostly used to store Soulforged Steel more efficiently, but it's also an explosion resistant building material which can't be moved by pistons or destroyed by the wither, and requires steel pickaxe or mattock to collect (and it takes a long time to break it, about twice as long as obsidian).

For a full SFS Beacon you would need 164 blocks containing 2624 SFS ingots. A full breakdown of the required materials is as follows:

  • 656 blocks of Clay (10.25 stacks)
  • 2624 Iron ingots (41 stacks)
  • 2624 Soul Flux (41 stacks)
  • 2624 Coal Dust (41 stacks)
  • 20992 Netherrack/Soul Dust (328 stacks or 6 double chests and 4 stacks)
