Functions like an dispenser, but dispenses blocks and entities in front of the dispenser instead. With regular blocks, the block is placed in front when the dispenser receives power, then removed once the dispenser is powered down. It also varies from a typical dispenser in that it places fully functional minecarts and boats in front of it, rather than the items. The Block Dispenser also fires its contents in order (complete with an indicator in the inventory displaying which item will be fired next), rather than randomly, allowing for the selection of a sequence of blocks to be dispensed.
In terms of the crafting recipe, the logic behind it is that with time the Moss Stone absorbs some of the attributes of the spawner around it, while the souls contained within are capable of activating those properties when redstone power is applied.

Applications
- Item Deletion
- Floodgate
- Secret doors
- Minecart doors
- Farming - (Hemp, Wood, Sugar Canes)
- Minecart & Boat dispensing
- Storage Minecart unloading (sucking the cart in will cause inventory to spill out)
- Animation
- Automated building (with Pistons)
- Redstone Mechanisms (Placing & removing of Redstone Dust, Torch, Repeater)
- ROMs (By filling the Block dispenser with various slabs and full blocks, the Block dispenser can allow redstone power to pass when the Block dispenser is given a certain number of redstone pulses)
- Production of Companion Cubes
Keep in mind
- Block dispensers that are sucked up by other block dispensers will have their contents deleted
- Block dispensers will be powered if the block above them is receiving power
- It must be crafted on an Anvil
- Redstone
- Dust - Can be powered when redstone dust is powered on top of the dispenser.
- Torch (Will flick on, then off and remain off)
- Will be powered once when power is place to the dispenser.
- Will be powered twice (once when power is received and once when cut) when power is run on the top of the dispenser.
- Repeater - Will always be powered. (Doesn't need to have redstone dust on top)
- Moss Stone - Cobblestone in the vicinity of monster spawners will slowly turn into moss stone, which makes it possible to farm moss stone. The area of this effect around monster spawners is roughly the same size of dungeons.
- Will not pick up Wheat that has not fully matured.
- When it picks up something in front of it, only that item will enter the Block Dispenser inventory (i.e: If picking up wheat, and seeds that would have been dropped if it had been broken normally by hand will not appear at all either inside the Dispenser or on the ground).
- Will pick up the following block types without altering them: bookshelves, coal ore, cobwebs, crafting tables, diamond ore, emerald ore, furnaces, grass blocks, huge mushrooms, ice, lapis lazuli ore, Mycelium, nether quartz ore, and redstone ore
