Advantages and Disadvantages

There are many reasons why a player might consider using Fried Eggs as a primary food source:

• they are easy to produce in bulk and require no crafting, unlike Bread
• they do not require destruction - and subsequent breeding - of livestock, unlike meats
• they restore an adequate amount of hunger and saturation, unlike Donuts
• they do not require a stewing pot, so they can be made in the early game

However, there are also certain drawbacks:

• they require many chickens to produce in bulk, which might cause lag
• they require use of a stewing pot, making them unavailable in the early game
• they cannot be fully automated
