Crafting

Soul Dust are produced when Blood Wood are cut with a Saw. One block of Blood Wood produces 2 pieces of soul dust.

Applications

Soul Dust is used to make Soul Urns. The method is the same as with Ground Netherrack: you need to pass soul dust over a Hopper with Soul Sand in a filter slot which either has a Urn block placed directly underneath it and is receiving mechanical power. Only difference from Ground Netherrack is the side product of the process - it's Sawdust as opposed of Hellfire Dust.

Keep in Mind

  • If you pass 8 or more Soul Dust units over an unpowered Hopper with a Soul Sand filter which has no empty Urns in its inventory, the hopper will be overloaded with necromantic energies, exploding as well as causing a not-so-friendly visit from a friend from the other side.
