Providing much heavier draw strength than the standard Bow, the Composite Bow is able to launch arrows at a higher velocity. This allows for a much greater range and more direct aim when using Arrows, however this greater velocity does not translate to greater damage.
Unique to the Composite Bow is the ability to also fire the heavy Broadhead Arrow due to its increased draw strength, which provide more damage, but it cannot fire Rotted Arrows, which will instead shatter harmlessly. The Composite Bow has 150% of the standard Bow's durability.
