Minimized Blocks
Minimized blocks are small blocks that can be created using either a saw (for wooden ones) or an anvil (for stone ones). Some of them have found their way into block recipes - High Efficiency Recipes .
Name | Dimensions |
---|---|
Siding | Like a Slab |
Moulding | Half a Siding |
Corner | Half a Moulding |
Production
Wooden Blocks can be obtained by placing on in front of a Saw's blade. You may craft two smaller types back into the next larger type. e.g. two corners into one moulding (the recipes are shapeless)
Stone Blocks must be crafted on an Anvil.
Variations
- Siding (Formerly Panel)
- This block is similar to a slab, except it may face in any direction..
- Moulding
- Basically, this is a wood/stone Siding cut in half to provide a strip of wood for detailing structures.
- Corner
- A block half the size of moulding; It is 1/8 of a full block. A wooden corner can but cut in a saw for 2 gears.
Keep in Mind
- Placement of each requires a learning curve, but misplaced ones can be easily removed.
