you do not need to go to the neither for a fire block as long as your willing and fast enough with the flint. i had set mine up with stone block slabs and dirt. tryed looking up what things had long burn so i just stuck with that. wastes your flint but you can at least get to make the saw. might not be ideal for all but if your having issues with diamond finding this works.Chrissyofhailfire 04:39, 3 September 2012 (MDT)
