Iron Ingot

Iron Ingots are bars of extremely versatile silvery metal, obtained from the combining of nine iron nuggets, either through crafting or smelting in a crucible. It is used to make a wide variety of items such as iron tools, minecarts, minecart rails, armor, anvils and more. It can also be found as loot in dungeons, strongholds, abandoned mineshafts and villages.

Most iron items can be melted down in a crucible to recover a fraction of the iron used to construct it. Combined with the output of iron items from a mob trap for zombies, the crucible can be an unlimited source of iron. An iron ingot is one of the three components of Diamond Ingots, and one of the four components of Soulforged Steel.
