Golden Apples are a luxurious food item. They can be obtained by crafting an Apple and eight Gold Nuggets together. Eating one restores .5 shanks like a normal apple, but grants regeneration for 5 seconds, healing up to 2 hearts over that time. They can be eaten for the regeneration even if you are full.
The Enchanted Golden Apple variant harnesses Gold in vast quantities to grant massive defensive boosts for a short time.
