Diamond
Diamonds are powerful and hard gems that can be mined from Diamond Ore with a Pickaxe of iron or better. They are primarily used for crafting Diamond Ingots, which are used to craft high quality diamond tools and armor. Diamonds are very difficult to obtain as the ores are only found very deep underground, but obtaining at least three for a pickaxe is a necessary mid-game goal to break Obsidian and third strata stone.
Diamonds are also direct crafting components for some advanced blocks, and giving a diamond each to two villagers will allow them to breed.

Keep in mind
- Crafting a Diamond Ingot is irreversible, so avoid making more than you need.
- Using a Fortune enchantment will increase the yield from Diamond Ore.
- Standard Enchantment Tables cannot be crafted.
